well i just got my hands on a plug-in called Text Filter Suite. some nifty text filters you can apply… all you’ve got to do is leave a comment and view the fun.

after all that fuss about “Widgets of mass destruction” there’s now a little app that will catch any Widgets that are automatically installed and ask you what you want to do with it - the idea being that you can leave on “Open “safe” files after downloading”. of course that’s not a great idea because we all know that a .wdgt isn’t the only type of file that can be dangerous… but if you’re paranoid then Widget, The World Watcher is your new best purple friend.
of more use is a new Preference Pane, appropriately named Widget Manager which lets you disable and delete Widgets from the comfort of System Preferences.
well it all turned out to be too easy. well okay, there were a few snags but i’m here now, posting after not too much effort at all. i was expecting this to be a major crash course in programming trying to get a blog setup, but WordPress made it so simple!
