Snap+Send digital postcard

Stuart Calvey, a 22-year-old industrial design student at the University of NSW has come up with the concept of a digital postcard. This would include a 2 Megapixel camera, a 10cm screen, enough memory and an internal battery, all housed in a cardboard shell.

Snap and Send digital postcard

“You would buy it at a newsagent or photo developer, take a few shots and, once it’s full, you stick a stamp on it, address it and put it in the postbox,” Calvey says.

“Then grandma, or your girlfriend, gets it. They tear open the perforations, fold out a little kick stand on the back and sit it on a bench top. Then it’s as simple as pressing a button and it will go through a slide show of images.”

the boy they named Google

I can’t believe this. But I suppose someone has named their child Sony Playstation (or something like that).

Oliver Google KAI . Name of our Lovely SON

A googol is 1 followed by 100 zeroes = 10^100 , we wanted our son Oliver Google KAI to get more friends around the globe.

Google KAI’s friends may be as 10^100 and he can still keep good structured relationship with all of them by using some of Google New Services with love, passion and peace.

no daddy! why u call me Google!

His face will probably look something like that at the moment when he’s old enough to speak and understand people and he finds out about Google.

Project Gotham - ultra realism

This just goes to show how much detail is going into games these days.

Someone while on holiday in Japan took these photographs. When they got back, they found the identical place in the Project Gotham 3 race tracks. They are shockingly similar and just highlights the large amount of work that went into making the game. Impressive eh?

Project Gotham 3 & real life comparison

Check out the link for the full pictures. I had to look at it for a bit to see which ones were from the game and which ones were real life photos. The detail is just amazing.
