It’s about time that apps started to use all the great Core features of OS X…
The Public Beta is out. I just had to give it a try… and it looks like it can do just about everything that I’ve been using Toast for… burn UDF DVD’s, create disk images from files. Although I’m not sure if it can mount disk images like Toast. Either way, I’m using Disco from now on. 
For those of you unfortunate enough not to have OS X and see this for yourselves, you can check out this video.

I found this Portal trailer last week some time. It looks like the guys at Valve have replaced the gravity gun in Half Life 2 wih a portal gun. This trailer looks very interesting…
I guess they’re going to have to make every situation extremely difficult now that portals are available, but I’m sure they’ll come up with some very interesting one’s as well…

Sounds like fun, I can’t wait! I think I’m going to buy HL2 just so I can get in on this Portal action.
